Floating stick baits travel on the surface of the water. When retrieved momentum stalls, these lures rise to the surface often sitting back heavy to ensure back hook is positioned for optimal hook up. As the lure travels forward it runs shallow under the surface, but when worked fast will skip on the top of the water. It is a very versatile and fun way to fish.
